    It’s all just a bit crap isn’t it at the moment. Can see why people will be staying away next season. So we’re down to our 4th choice now is it? Really shows the pulling power that we have as a club.

    Our transfer policy was publicly criticised by Heckingbottom and Struber.

    Val and Duff didn't stay for a summer when they knew we'd lose key players.

    Stendel had bits to say first time around and now if RS are to be believed, turned the job down on the basis of it.

    Is it not time our board had a rethink and tweaked what now looks to be a flawed approach to player recruitment and sales?

    No it doesn't, the board listened to a few fans having massive hissy fits and claiming they weren't renewing their ST for next season. Said fans are now up in arms we haven't named a new head coach! Unfortunately, it would appear potential head coaches are looking beyond the fact its BFC and are looking at the way Collins was shat on and our bizarre transfer policy.

    They did rethink it recently and appointed a DOF to oversea recruitment, implement a game model and a coaching ideology to used throughout the club

    For what it's worth, my opinion is that the board have mucked up. The timing of Collins' sacking was poor and the subsequent vacuum of communication with fans is also poor. Neither is it right to blame the supporters for the situation. The buck stops with those who make the business & football decisions, the board.

    Correct. Not surprising that Stendel and others turned the job down. Sell the best players and no say over recruitment... can you blame him and others.
