A quick look on both the Barrow and MK Dons forums and nether are too bothered if they lose their head coach to us.. All you need to know really
A bit like getting your local builders merchant manager to go into a field and build you a brand new house.
Isn't it more like getting your local builders merchant manager to find you the right materials to build a house? Something which I imagine they'd be quite good at.
As I said earlier last week, people had jumped far too early on Daniel’s expected return. He spoke to the club weeks ago, but it would be a very tall order to fetch him back here in the first place. I’m not entirely sure there has been much going on since that conversation, certainly not from what I know, which granted, ain’t all that much. Very concerning this, though. DS loves the town, the fans and to a certain extent, the club. I don’t know where we go from here.
Two local journalists mentioning stendels unhappiness with our recruitment policy. I know German reserve football is a higher tier than over here but this is pretty damning of the way the club is run.
Haven’t got a clue, mate. Never hear anything now as my pals are at other clubs these days. With the way things are going I can see them giving it Devaney, which in my opinion would be an absolute car crash appointment.
We sold Hecky down the river so if you piss off a local lad that much it’s unsurprising that others don’t want to touch us with a bargepole. We will get someone but my what a way to run a football club
Would he really touch it? "Here you go Martin mate, we've touted it around the world but no one wants it, it's was yours all along really"........
It's more like asking the unqualified builders merchant manager to design the house and choose all of the materials you'll be using and then him choosing a project manager who is willing to work under his terms
Surly they have to be more successful than Collins. Getting a playoff place just ain't good enough apparently
Would you knowing you were 73rd in line and only got it after everyone else turned it down? I don't believe that's the case though, I genuinely think he doesn't want that kind of role and is happier in a coaching position where there's more job security and probably less stress.
Il tell you summat, this I fear is the boards last chance with this appointment...... They obviously saw the vitriol that came the way of Conway and Chien, things will turn very dark if they f**k this up. The woman's team and luncheons won't save them. Message to the board..... Be brave and appoint an experienced manager and listen to actual footballing people.
Spot on, surely the thought must have crossed their minds or question themselves, that their approach to things isn't working, surely?
