    On what evidence is he the best manager we've had in decades? Evidence other than the 18 losses in 26 games and staying up due to another team having points deducted obviously.

    It does have a silver lining: It shows I was right to keep my season ticket money and spending it on more worthwhile things, like coco pops and a new pair of trainers and that.

    And what will be the ratio of money spent on coco pops and trainers? Will it be £300+ on trainers and just the one box of coco pops or 150 boxes of coco pops and a pair of £20 specials from wynsors?

    Mainly coco pops, probably by a 99:1 ratio. The 'trainers' are actually a couple of old shoe boxes I found in a skip, painted black, drawn laces on and scrawled 'Addias' on in permanent marker.

    Silver linings do happen sometimes, and if we were to learn from the Brighton performance, then Id gladly accept it.

    But how long will it be before yet more shocking phoned in performances, where they are apparently not doing anything the manager has asked them to ?
