Coming for you next mate. :) actually enjoyed participating thanks. Especially this last week or so having a run of luck. Eg going for Mathematician. I didn't have my normal couple of choices. In the A-Z of runners.. Maths was my favourite subject at school lol.
Would I have been in pocket btw. Not kept abreast of the odds. Don't bother if you haven't kept a log that you can go straight to. cheers.

In the last 55 yrs, the Grand National winner has had “red” in the title on 5 occasions and SP’s were 33/1 , 9/1 , 9/1 , 11/1 and 100/7.

I’ll let you work out how much as a minimum you’d be up if you backed one horse in each race with red being a priority in the name, but not essential.
The horses, by the way were Red Alligator, Red Marauder and Red Rum on 3 occasions.

    55 x £10 staked = £550

    Winnings of 330, 90, 90, 110, 143, so 763 (plus return of 5 x £10 stakes).

    Unless my maths is *****!!

    Makes sense to me.
I do usually have a bet on the national. (The only race mind) and Backed Red Rum on the 2nd and 3rd occasion.
Dropped a clanger for mother in law though. She wanted to back Ben nevis to win. I advised her. (Only cos I saw the odds) to put her money on the each way bet. 40/1
I have never bet on Barnsley btw. For the fear of jinxing em.

I'm sure you were popular at the in-laws. Perhaps a good reason to stay away. Every cloud...

Only £450 lost, £50 of stake refunded, but that was already your money, the bookie was just holding it pending the result of each race. £213 profit.

Cos you’re always a day ahead, I thought I’d give everyone a reminder that extra 10 pts are on offer for the winners of the two big 2 year old races at Newmarket on Saturday.

I think they are the second and third contests on the card.

Tbh x11. I do em as soon as I can remember, else I'll forget. If that makes sense. No red or mac options for tomorrow as far as I could see. But found 2 that I think fill my requirements. :)
Thanks for the reminder btw. Hope there is summat I can link to lol.
