    My horses liked the distance as I’m sure a losing run was due !!!
    Thanks Raggy … luck was with me this time but you’ve certainly an eye for better priced horses who finish as winners or well up the field.

    I'll have a look mate. This last week has been bonkers with the names thing. Eg Jalo. (With no reds or macs running that day. Then that double yesterday. Pure luck mate. but did check the odds then last placings. I honestly don't follow horse racing whatsoever. Last few works outings I just gave my mate mi money as he rarely lost much if owt. And didnt even bother watching the races.

    I understand odds and last outings. Then its pot luck. Prior to just giving mi mate the money. If I went to the races. (Only on social events in the 80s/90s once a year) I'd back without favourite and go for 2nd or third in the betting. I didnt win much but generally stayed in pocket.
