And here's the Commodore's with 'Night shift', from nearly 40 years ago.
I remember them playing this once at half time on the tannoy, for a game against Middlesbrough in '84.
    Memories ehh. :)

You know when an old 60s song makes a comeback, because it's been used in an advert, or a telly series, or in a film. Well here's 2 from that time, and I've never heard either of them before.
This one is The Spicks and the specks by The Bee Gee's, which was used in an episode of The Walking dead!.

And this one is Silver bird by Mark Lindsay (from 69-70) which was used in the film The Gray man. Starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans!.

DEPECHE MODE - JUST CANT GET ENOUGH

Back to the list and back to the 80s. What an annoying fcking melody throughout, but it's a brilliant key change to the bridge/pre chorus.

Plus it reminds me of getting spannered at a mates wedding - and that's the main thing.

    PRINCE - GOLD

I don't like Prince generally. He's quite an odd bloke, and I think he's a bit overrated. Plus he dropped a right rick when he changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol. But this is unreal. The dogs danglies when it comes to production and melody. What a song.

THE STONE ROSES - TEN STOREY LOVE SONG

Never really liked their first album. A bit soft for me - probably a victim of grim production rather than owt else. Always like Second Coming better. This is the best song on that album - even if Ian Brown could never sing. But Squire good play the old guitar better than anyone apart from about 6 people ever in history. This is his best song too.

No new entries tonight, but I've just heard this on Virgin Radio and it's incredible.

    So powerful.

When I do this list again in ten years it'll be higher.

    Here's Bono and U2.
He might have his critics, but he and U2 were ace then back in the 80s. :)

And we've got to have The Stranglers on here haven't we lol.
This is one of their milder easy going songs, its Always the sun. :)
