    I've been told a few stories, and they're backed up by a couple of his former teammates at the time who I've spoken to. Trust and paranoia are the key words. But I'm not going to go posting 'stories' on here as for one, I respect Bobby and what he told me, even more so his missus who my missus is great friends with. It's not worth the, errr, Hassell.

    And, they're from one side aren't they? I might fully believe them, they may have been substantiated by others, witnesses etc, but they're still stories and I see nowt to gain in telling them outside school. Certainly not on here.

    It's also quite weird for me, as Keith was so good with Jacob. But Hillcroft, their agent, their staff... some quite nasty elements to their time here, aided by 'their' players who didn't enjoy it here from day one.


    Why it continued down the same, frozen out path for Bobby under Danny I do not know, and even Bobby hasn't a definitive clue. But as Dyson says, I can't wait for the book. Perhaps then he'll expand on things. And beyond all that ********, I know his stories of his younger years, time at Mansfield and his many BFC memories will be terrific to read.

    Wilson has had plenty of criticism in other threads ,not because he didn't want bobby that was his prerogative but because he hasn't got a suitable/competent replacement which the fans will no doubt keep reminding him of from time to time till he gets it right.
    Also Wilson was never gonna get as much stick as hillcroft because of what he did for us in the past and also he never runs the club or its history and fanbase down every photo oppertunity.

    Biggest issue with BFC for me, that successive managers (for whatever reason) have felt unsupported by those above them. Constant theme. Ritchie, Hill, Robins, Flitcroft. Broken them all in different ways. We're never going to be successful unless everyone is pulling in the same direction.
