The 'Bury Brand'

I agree, he was a stop gap to give the club time to find a new manager in the Summer but he went and suprised em all, us included. Should have been given a full season but the money angle came into it. We invest in managers then pull the plug 3/4 months into their reign, crazy, he wasn`t the first and probably wont be the last either.

 

Criticising the critics? Something you've always poured scorn on.

 

I`m as hypocritical as the next man Lil, its hard not to be on here when you like a good moan.

 

He's a good bloke and he believes in what he's trying to do? Why knock him for that ?

The half a season in which he managed to keep us up was the most I've enjoyed watching BFC for long time. Much more enjoyable than what we've seen pre Rochdale. I'm hoping that was the turning point.

Flicker talks a lot of ****. But he believes in his own ****. The guys got a knack of getting people behind him, most importantly he knows how to make chairman part with their money.

He's definitely a great short term motivator, that's proven at both Barnsley and Bury. The real test is does his fairly tale world of special human beings work in the long term? Or do people eventually think this guys fcking bonkers? Only time will tell. But good luck to him.

 

And I stand shoulder to shoulder with you on that score, old mate!
