for god sake, quit whining about the membership scheme. it's £3 ffs. if i give you a fiver to cover the awful inconvenience, will that make it all better?

Fantastic to see the Club do this.

The amount of people saying "it's too expensive" now haven't got a leg to stand on.

£20 for Championship football is well worth it in my eyes.

    YOU REDS.

i don't think it's a tax on latecomers. it's meant to be an incentive. there are many examples across many industries, where prices are cheaper if you 'book' earlier.

    Advertise this everywhere.

Would it be possible to get a massive poster in Tarn centre somewhere? maybe at Alhambra or above old littlewoods or something?

Great stuff although I echo the stuff about membership. I have a card but live near Selby. I can't get to the game for 130pm and often can only get for 3pm, it makes life difficult for me when I don't think it really needs to. Don't mind having to buy the card etc but why not just be able to use it on the gate?

It's still £3 too much if you are not a member. The clubs still making us jump through hoops.

Are they going to have late night opening on Fridays till 8 so us commuters can take advantage of the £20.

What about bringing the over 60 concession back in?

I had to have a moan, it would be rude not to.

    I said I'd pay £25 so £23 is a bit of a bargain.

I can probably vouch for about 20 by name.

I will be there unless I'm at the Emirates. That was a joke by the way.

There's one thing you've all, including the club have forgot about... Who will know about these cheaper prices? As per usual the club will not advertise the new prices. Only fans who frequent here twitter, Facebook and the chronicle will know them. The same people who come most weeks. The club needs to spend a few penny's on advertising to get the new price to the Barnsley public.

It's called common sense. How will people know it's been reduced without advertising?

People can actually buy tickets right up-to 3pm from the ticket office with members cards, the club advertise 1.30 latest as 1.30-3pm is busy and they try to avoid people coming after this time...again this needs to be scrapped, advertise it's 3pm (which it actually is anyway) and also allow cash (with member card) on the gate.
