You have been more worried about GS and the Club since...

You attended the Q and A meeting at Darfield Club

Nah..BFC Dave

in answer to his funding a strikers wages question.

To whom that striker could be..

Bridges?
Horsefield?

I dunno I am not the football manager phoning round to see who is/is not available.

I know this 500k for chopra would not have broken the bank and I doubt his wages would have. Did we try? did we?? or are we determined to sign players for nowt with league 1 wages??

What The Club Need To Do

Come out and give us answers and stop hiding behind PR stunts. Maybe Radio Sheffield can have a 2 hour show with Cryne/Sheps/Ritchie.

wages

Mcphail - 6-8k? likely
Vaughan - 2-3k?
Carbon - 3-4k?
Conlon - 3-4k?
Burns - 3-4k?

I merely speculate but all PR/phart signings? and not cheap.

RE: wages

very true and that wages reduction would pay for Chopra. If that's the way you want to go with it fine, my only comment is that we should follow the example of the blunts and get the finances right. It has taken them 6 years to turn it around, we have only taken the first steps down the road.

I agree but

we CANNOT afford to be relegated and spend another 3/4 years with low crowds and low income.

To survive we need to score goals, take chances when presented and defend like tigers.

A small squad may work a treat but we lack any strength in depth and no potent striker of any kind.

To be honest, we really have no idea about the wages and the bonuses in contracts

All figures quoted are purely hypothetical
Let's face it, we have no idea.

I agree with you too (this is getting to sound like a love in[IMG]) but I think an astute use of the loan market would be the way to go after the season has started.

Maybe that is scheduled..

It was Paul Sturrock tonight on a Q and A.
If you could understand what he was saying!
I think that they give all the Managers a chance.
It'll be Dave Penney next, you watch !
Not to mention Gobalot Ryan co commentating on a Donny match!
last one he did they got routed and he was left with egg on his face! lol

I think when the clubs have decided who they wish to keep after a couple of games players will become available. It's just my take on it doesn't mean i'm right or wrong. The proof of the pudding etc etc

You're not a happy bunny at the moment are you[IMG], or is it nervous with the start of the season upon us ?[IMG]

Fair enough, it's just that I tend to see all this from a financial view (makes me a miserable twit)[IMG]
