    current one

    is the emblem of the town and a coat of arms is always better than a rose or toby - which was only for hats and pencil cases and whatever anyway. Would consider the well but I grew up with the rose and I much prefer the one we have now - the fact that it is used throughout the town is not a bad thing.

    I agree but I still think we need a change

    I think that we need a simpler design but still keeping the glass and coal.
    People are debating between three or four designs that are all old. The crest is too detailed and doesnt stand out, the yorkshire rose is just that, yorkshire, Toby looks cheap and nasty and the oak well looks like i drew it with my left hand while blindfolded.

    What is so wrong with having a new badge created? AFC's badge looked smart and simple, it stood out from a distance and still kept the towns identity and thats what we should be trying to achieve for the future
