Just made an assist for the first goal. But take your point otherwise he was off form 2nd half.

O'Keeffe was brilliant yesterday apart from that brain fart of a header.

I must have had the wrong spectacles on yesterday because I have absolutely no idea what all the criticism of MDG is about. I even read someone trying to blame him for their goal. Just watch the highlights.

Some people view the game massively different. For example saying Connell couldn’t pick a pass all game, that’s a lie. The second half he couldn’t I will admit that but the first half he was good, a great assist for DKD and then before the goal he played a nice inside ball to Earl (who was in their box so the point of him not going forward as a LB is wrong).

I think we had good balance yesterday, good in transitions and there was some pretty football, more in the first half than the second half but there were definitely quick short triangles going on between DKD/Phillips/Connell and Craig.

Another absurd point I read in a different thread is that cosgrove was crap yesterday, I disagree with that also. I think he had his second best game in a Barnsley shirt yesterday, his link up was good and so was his holding up play.

I’m feeling positive about the squad and the manager if you can’t tell :D

But three wins on the bounce should give us all that confidence!

    You reds!

Really , Pines is a man mountain in the air.
When the ball is on the floor he is a liability.
He is like a rabbit in headlights when it's at his feet.

Totally agree with all that. Also thought Benson was excellent when he came on.If he can stay fit and get a run of games we'll have a proper player on our hands.

Yes, a good cameo. He deserves some good luck. If I remember rightly, albeit I might not because it was a long time ago, but I think he scored in 3 games in a row when we first signed him? I like him, just hope his body holds up.

Earl absolutely battered Luke Thomas when he was at wing back to the extent that i couldn't believe Thomas made it to half time

1.2 Million of memory serves right…

Saying that, we also paid 900k for Josh Benson so I’d like to see some return on that this season if the lad stays fit…..
