Credit it where its due that's all...

...however I still maintain my belief in his managerial ability. But if the teams doing OK at the moment then I'm not going to complain. Still think we're going to find the long run difficult but he and the team are doing well at the moment.

We've got some key games coming up now so let's hope we're all still as positive in a few weeks.

RE: What do you expect then?

After spending millions of pounds in the last two years I think top ten is the least I would expect.

There must be at least ten other teams in this division that have spent much more money though.

Forest spent nearly 3 on one player.

Two million quid in two years to almost completely overhaul a team is not much in these times mate.

If you think 2 million quid will guarantee a top half finish in Championship then you are off your head.

Bet you cant tell me a team that has spent less than us but is in top half of table.

Plymouth spent 2.5 million over same period.

Swansea spent just under a million but thats because they have a higher wage structure so got several players on a free for higher wages.

Not sure. Maybe you could tell me.

Hull would be the exception rather than the rule though as they are still surprising teams in the Premiership.

    No reason at all.

If only it was that easy.

Actually come to think of it in 1996/1997 we were that exception to the rule and did go up. Unfortunately seasons like that dont come along that often.

Imo at the minute comfortably staying in the division is a realistic target based on out wage structure / expenditure and a top half finish would be a bonus.

    RE: No reason at all.

We had a manager back then and Hull have one now.

That's because we're not real fans

And we should stay away from Oakwell because we're not really wanted.
