The donkey derby on Saturday

To my mind, there is no better time to be playing Sheffield Wednesday than this coming Saturday.
They have Winnall out on loan at Derby and are in the midst of an horrendous spate of injuries.
Sam Hutchinson, Fernando Forestieri, Steven Fletcher, Joost Van Aken and Tom Lees are all reputedly definitely out.
Joe Wildsmith has been keeping goal ahead of Keiren Westwood who has also been out injured and manager
Jos Luhukay has confirmed that Barry Bannan can now be added to the list of long term absentees after
breaking down in training. Add to all that, Marco Matias and Daniel Pudil are now also sidelined after receiving red cards
against Birmingham City in Saturday's 1-3 home defeat. Luhakay is bemoaning the fact that Jordan Rhodes will
in all probability have to lead the line on Saturday , despite not playing much lately, a move forced upon him because
he only has fourteen recognised first team squad players available for the game.
