Great Article

It's much better than most journalists could muster.

And for the txt generation - consider what a pleasure such a well written piece is to read.

Enjoyed reading this - I think I agreed with most that was said - a lot better than the bland repetitious stuff in the chronicle which simply seems to summarise what has been discussed on here.

    Thanks for that

wholesale changes = recipe for disaster. :(

We survived last season. The common sense approach would have been to add 3 or 4 players to that squad.

Ritchie was sacked for being in the bottom 3 in 3 out of the first 18 games, we havebeen in the bottom 3 in 1 out of 1 so far, 2 to go then Gordon?

I have to say that this is probably the best written post I have ever read on this board.
Can''t say that I agree on everything that you have said but accept your opinion in the spirit in which it was written.
I trust that my opinions will be given the same credence.

    1) Personally, if there was a problem between Kay and the manager, then I would have preferred to see the manager go, because I believe that we will miss Kay more than we would miss Davey.

    2) I am sorry, but I still cannot see Nyatanga as our defensive saviour. I don't believe that he is any better at this stage, then any one else on our books, either last season or this. He has no more pace or presence than either Reid or Souza. Also I cannot agree that his signing (on loan) is any sign of ambition by BFC. If he does show any improvement over the season, he will go back to Derby and we will have gained nothing in the long term.

I wish I could be as optimistic as you appear to be about the new season but I find it very difficult to be so. I have an advantage over you when you wrote your piece because I have yesterday's result to back up my thoughts but I assure you they haven't changed as a result of yesterday.

Finally, may I just say, Thank You for such a refreshingly honest posting. I look forward to reading more from you.
