    On the face of it, it sounds like the doctors at the hospital have been total cnuts with this family and this guy is justing trying to do the best for his kid.

    Firstly Paul we don't know the full story

    However, my experiences over the last 12 days suggest that you are not allowed challenge docs. If you ask for a referral to a hospital where they have greater expertise, they close ranks and refuse to refer you. Particularly whenthey know they have dropped a bollocking.

    They close rank and threaten you.

    If that's the case in Southampton then good on them I can entirely relate to the desperation of there.circumstances
