    I don't think you tell the buying club if the player is RB or CB - I think they make their own minds up. That's why they have scouts.

    Given that we only played him at RB, that's what the scouts will have seen. It's fair to assume then bought him as a full back, and he morphed into the great CB he is now over time with them.

    In fairness the lad is built like a CB more than a RB, so you could be right, but I doubt they'd pay 3m for a player to play in a position they haven't seen him in

    Pretty sure it was £2.5m.

    Everton weren't paying us for how good a player Stones was in January 2013 - they were paying for the player they knew he'd become. That's what we should have charged them for.

    Hull have paid for the same. Difference is Maguire isn't a patch on Stones. And never will be.

    Played far more games as junior and in reserves at Centre Half

    Yes they do. Also the reason he lefty is not just the chance to play at higher level, part of it was down to the previous manager .

    If you mean flitcroft, I very much doubt that. That just seems like an unjust dig at the guy, from what I remember/hear, they got along very well.
