anything in it? From ESU looked a 50:50 call and a game changer if given as their player already on a yellow. Not an excuse for the abject performance but would surely have made a difference?
What made the difference was all our players stopped. Very unprofessional. That's the problem with having Woodrow as captain. Barning like a fanny is acceptable.
Looked 50/50 at best, and he was nowhere near getting the ball anyway. But then with Morris down, Palmer concentrates on moaning to the ref and suddenly the shape and discipline we’d be needing throughout the game has gone and they can easily pass through our midfield.
Foul or no foul the defending straight after was Sunday league, if we don't get a decision lets just down tools and stamp our feet attitude
He was down holding his face like he'd been caught with an arm then got up and limped away, been sat watching Cauley for too long
Looked an absolute blatant pull back from the defender, ref bottled it because he was the last man, ball had got away from Morris but a fouls a foul.
I thought it would have been a soft foul to be honest. I wasn’t raging it wasn’t given put it that way. I’d say 50/50 was generous - though I am a bit old school. You’ve seen them given - but it wasn’t a glaring ref error. What happened afterwards is an example of the lack of leadership and discipline in the team. I’m not blaming the ref for that.
It looked a foul to me, consistent with their blocking tactics used throughout the game. But to stop playing and whinge about it was disgraceful and unprofessional.
