Quite disappointing to see us try and see this one out for the draw, to be honest. Granted we've looked poor, but I'd have liked to see a push to win it at the end. There's definitely the quality there to pull it off.
All rovers 2nd half....thought this would be a draw....they have been far better than us 2nd half. Russell ...a footballer but needs far too much time on the ball. Cotter been poor.
Tbf you put Phillips, connell and the French CB into that team and Williams at RWB and we win this, early days yet, dissapointing but still a good point against a good side
I don’t think we can use today or the next few games as a way to test how the season will go. Connel, Phillips, O’Kefffee and the French lad would have all started today had they been fit and ready, Benson and Cundy would make the bench too. It’s not really a fair reflection with so many unavailable. Any points between now and game 8 is a bonus, 4 points in 2 is a great start considering
Toss today, lucky to leave with a point if we’re honest. Performance today was the complete opposite of last week’s. Strikers had no service all game.
No cutting edge and lack urgency. Poor game from us. Lucky to get a point. Still stand by this might turn out to be a decent point though by the end of the season - Gas are decent.
Disappointing we didn't kick on after a great start. We're not going to play well every week, so it's important to pick up points when we don't. Plus we're still far from full strength. Phillips back next game. Roll on Tuesday.
Nearly every side we've put out in Bristol (whether at City or Rovers) over the years has played like they've been at a local cider farm in the hours before kick off. I'll take a point after what sounds like a pretty lacklustre performance
HMS P155 the League... Floundering after week two.. take the lucky point. But jeez we're miles off a good side.
It took time last season, some on here want to get to the club and take over and show em how it's done!
Don't suppose there is any point pointing out the blindingly obvious, but new manager, hardly any pre season, squad not complete, won 7-0 at home last week and a point away at a side that got a good result at Portsmouth last week
To sum that performance up in one word.. '****'. Can't even think where to start with the post mortem. Brizzle must be gutted to have only got a draw.
