Wow, I don't even have that. I know it had a purple sleeve, but I left the band before it was released and they put the new guitarist on the cover. Me and Karl did the guitars. I haven't seen him for a few years though we're mates on facebook. He's a proper free spirit and I think you can whistle for your £20!! We recorded that at a studio called the Workshop in Tamworth, where the Stuffies, Poppies, Neds etc did all their great early singles. I was a wee bairn and that was the first record I ever made. We were about 3-4 years ahead of our time, we would have nailed the brit pop era. I think that is the the only record they made, we recorded more stuff but I don't think it came out. Eeeee I could tell some stories about that band!! But I won't.
Ramones Public Enemy Decemberists Flaming Lips Velvet Underground The Jayhawks Wilco The Raconteurs Silver Jews

If that, Ha! It could do with digitalising along with the other stuff. There are some earlier recordings too and somewhere there is a great tape we made in Birmingham just blasting through our live set, it was well recorded, we'd been on tour and were **** hot. Wish I had that. I get facebook messges sometimes from some of the girls that used to follow us, it's a bit of a laugh now. Someone put a myspace page together and the Nobody Tells Me/Stuck On You single was on it, but it's been taken down now, I looked for it last night after seeing your post. It sounded okay, it was never meant to be released. I found some old reviews as well, rehashed - one said the best band in London, isn't actually from London - that stuck at the time. We were good, mind. I've noticed there's a couple of dull bands using the name. We were the first, the band was actually going before the INXS single. That was a right pisser when that happened, they must have nicked it. Our song Suicide Blonde is on youtube, I don't play on that - it's quite early on, they were 16-17 when they made that. Amazing. Plankton Pete, Jay, Load Bearing Pillar might appreciate this.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t1As6Ihe5g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUgzYn9QIto
what about some of the soul or funk type bands Earth,Wind and Fire The commodores, Sly & the Family Stone just to mention a few. Or are you going Genre special.
You were not wrong, loving Suicide Blonde. But I didn't think you were Karlos, Stevie, Jaymie or Marky?
No that was a year or two before I joined, but it's the only thing I can find on-line. I replaced (Neil) Stevie and Jaymie had gone too when I joined. It matured a lot musically, but I thought the first line up seemed like more fun. It got very business like.
Is that early Dropkick Murphys with the singer, or the later version with the loud shouty person with a microphone? Much preferred the "Barroom Heroes" era of the band myself...
Re: In no particular order... Interesting, didn't know this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart_(band)#Formation_.281963.2F1967.E2.80.9374.29 They started in Canada because one of the members was a Vietnam draft dodger! He travelled over to Seattle and met Ann Wilson, and she moved to Canada.
