The Labour Party

Starmer in my eyes is another Kinnock weak as p××s in many ways another who needs a personality transplant ....
Although I may be biased due to my support for JC....that said i would love to see Andy Burnham returning to front line politics and leading the party .....

 

Burnham has done a pretty good job as mayor, but let's not forget that he was New Labour through and through before the change in role allowed him to flex a bit. I suspect he would stand, but would be very wary of him pulling a Starmer and rowing back on promises after tricking the members into electing him. It would be good to have a non-London leader though.

On which subject, I'm still hoping that Angela Rayner goes for it because I think she'd be great. I'm worried that the fact they put up RLB instead last time means that perhaps she just isn't interested, but there's always a chance that she's playing a long game. She is possibly one of the few big names who have managed to more or less maintain their reputation with both the left and the right of the party...

 

Yeah that’s right when people say we are a conservative nation they are wrong but the left / left centre people are diverse.

Barnsley is very culturally conservative probably going back to the ‘black ban’ in the pits but now it’s all we are left with now v

 

Starmer is a wet wipe. He’s got no personality. No strong beliefs. You need one thing or the other.
