The dentist told me to eat ice lollies to stop the bleeding. That worked fine and the bleeding stopped within an hour but my jaw and ear still ache. Ibuprofen is quite effective but it wears off too quick so that if I took more as soon as the pain came back I'd be way over the daily dose.
Watching the Arsenal game, they’ve been excellent to be fair. Might see what’s on Netflix after the game. Not much else planned as I’ve now got a week off for half term, so just gonna chill.
Take the paracetamol in partnership with ibuprofen. Ibuprofen at hour zero, paracetamol at 2 hours, ibuprofen at 4 Paracetamol at 6 and so on. So oragelel extra strength from boots contains quite a high concentration of benzocaine which is an anaesthetic. Really helps and again can be taken with the painkillers.
Is it clotting ok? My wife was in agony a few years ago when the clot didn't set and she was left with a dry socket. Had to go back for it packing with something or other, which sorted it out.
Seems to have clotted ok and the gum is healing ok I think, it was the physical violence of the extraction, it was horrendous.
