I'll drop you a message with more info, but it won't be until later in the day as I'm about to head out.
Feel like we do this thread anew every year! Huge Packers fan- my football team were sponsored by an accountant who went to Wisconsin as a kid with the scouts. We were called Penistone Oshkosh after his firm. We raised money to go to the states on a football tour in 1990, which made the local papers as it's not a touristy place, especially back then. We played the local teams and absolutely battered them until losing a close game against a team two years older than us. One team started the game by punting the kick off into our half like an American football game! Anyhow, the Packers invited us to Lambeau during training camp. We got to walk amongst the players and have a tour of the stadium. It was incredibly hot and fans were crowding outside the fences staring in disbelief as we walked through. I didn't know anyone but the fact these huge crowds were clamouring to watch people train gave me the first sense of how big the sport is there. I watch all the games on dazn, but I'm not staying up for the late ones as I'm too old and have to work. Get to a game once a year if possible. I missed the ticket sale this year and secondary is so pricey. Btw we should have a bbs fantasy league on sleeper or something, would be great!
I play in a few fantasy leagues and have run several previously. If there's enough interest I'd be happy to set one up. There's probably still enough season left to make it worthwhile this year, but definitely can do it next year. BTW, if you're interested in the Wembley game, I'm selling 2 spare tickets at cost price, so no mark up. Block 503, row 12, cost paid was £126.45. Don't mind selling one as a single.
We had 4 available originally, but two of them are spoken for. I'm in a group with friends and we have 4 season tickets for Wembley and 6 for White Hart Lane games, and there are always spares as not everyone can make every game. Feel free to give me a shout for any that are of interest in future seasons if you miss out on the official sales.
Yeah Ditch your right, we all seem to keep posting the same things about this, every year (in September) lol. I wish we could have more comments from 'fans' about our Nfl teams during the season though, like more match day type comments on Sundays and Mondays.
Ok onto the week 4 highlights... Dallas struggle to win (again) away at N.Y Giants.. Baltimore thrash Buffalo.. Tampa Bay beat Philadelphia.. Jacksonville lose yet again lol.. Minnesota win a big rivalry away at Green Bay.. S.Frisco easily beat New England.. Indy surprisingly beat Pittsburgh.. and Washington win impressively away at Arizona. Kansas & Minnesota have a perfect 4-0 record so far. And a number of teams are just behind on 3-1. And now, we move onto week 5.
I hadn't anticipated that I'd be watching a 4-0 team in London this weekend, and the Vikings - Jets matchup looks like it could be a good game. Looking forward to the 'Skol' drum chants as part of the Vikings home game setup. They were one of the more memorable ones I recall from previous games. Eagles stunk up the place at Raymond James Stadium, which is something of a tradition as it seems to be a jinx venue for them where they never play well. Washington look a surprisingly entertaining unit with their new rookie QB and are the deserved front-runners so far in the NFC East. An early bye week for the Eagles this weekend, which is probably a good thing. Far, far too inconsistent so far this season, and Sirianni needs to get hold of things before the scrutiny on his position as head coach from last season returns with a vengeance.
We could easily have been 4 and 0 this season but for missed kicks and shooting ourselves in the foot. Even Greg Joseph who we released is 5 in 5. We'll come good
Hey Id forgot all about Aaron Rodgers, he's back from injury and he's making N.Y Jets competitive again at least. And it helps them and Buffalo and Miami, now that New England aren't a dominant team anymore. Minnesota are one of the surprising front runners, but in that Division, what on earth has happened to Chicago in recent years. Detroit always used to be the wooden spoon winners in there!.
Everyone thought vikings would be 4th this year. They have excellent coaches, particularly brian flores on defence
