The only consolation for us is... no matter how much a club pays for players, they are capped by the fact that they have to play eleven human beings on the pitch. There's a limit to a players abilities, no matter how inflated the valuations go, they're still prone to error, injury, becoming unsettled or not suiting the system and they still have to play as a team. Not much of a consolation, granted but the fact remains that even the best, most expensive team in the world are beatable and always will be.
