    Thatcher & the Taylor report are responsible for a lot of the problems in the modern game.
    The Germans didn't go down the same route of all seater stadiums & silly ticket prices.

    Or maybe promotion to the Prem is the only thing which has kept us in existence?

    That brought interest from new fans who are maybe still going today.

    Without that we could have been in the lower leagues struggling with 5000 crowds.

    I tend to find that compared to other town and cities I work in that they are so much more passionate about there town and team. Not much sign when you go into Barnsley that there is a football team in the town.

    But go to Derby for example and you see things linked to there club in and around the centre.
