If you mean by retaining our status as a league club or for that matter just our existence then yes I agree with you

Well, whilst I have no doubt that Mr Cryne has not made any money from his involvement and has, on paper at least, lost money I find it naive to suggest that he is entirely blameless. During our time in the Championship the approach was to run things as close to the bone as possible; fine with that, but what they failed to do was move the club forward or increase the revenue streams during this time, in fact instead choosing to wait until after relegation. To blame Don Rowing for that is just not right!!

Still, we can't change what has gone before and there are steady steps of improvement off the field, these can only help maximize what budget the manager of the day has to play with.

You could go into into the why's and wherefore's of managers but pretty irrelevant now...

Other than 96-97, 97-98 and the Bassett season, Barnsley Football Club has been pretty useless on the field during my time as a fan for the last 20 years. It's just what I've come to expect so don't get too angry when we lose a few games...

Gotta be a wind up post this, you will be accusing Rimmo of being a journeyman next. I think you could be in line for a Darwin award pal.
