I miss Titus because he had a grounded approach but called things out too. Used him to gauge the tone of my posts. If he commented on something it was worth listening to. In fact there's a few posters don't post as regularly as they used to.
Fear of losing power and privileges explains it with some people. For others, and I mean in life in general, they have a sense of looking up to those richer and 'more powerful' than them and are almost subservient to them. In order to be fair though there are others who have a distrust of anyone richer and in positions of power who will always look upon them in an unfavorable way. Then of course there's the vast majority who float somewhere between the two. One thing I've noticed this season is that it seems (and I may be wrong here) that those who have supported Collins the most vocally on here are those who don't go to Oakwell and instead watch or listen on ifollow. Could the difference in physical view of the game possibly explain the wildly different opinions on his abilities?
Who, on a football forum, has power and privileges to fear losing? As for support or other for Collins it's a strange dichotomy. I detested the football Ismael's team produced once his style had been rumbled. Others loved it because we were, for a time, winning every week. For some results are king, for others, they want to be entertained. It doesn't make one view or the other right or wrong. Collins' football wasn't great on the eye which was OK with most as long as we were winning. Start to lose with poor football though and you're toast.
