Of course, thats it.

Its not at all that I think that our club who have been given a final warning for crowd control should be doing everything in its power to ensure that we dont get a big fine or even worse have points deducted. It'd be plain crazy of me to be thinking that.

I'm not criticising individual stewards or even the stewarding company but the person in ultimate control of the matchday security on saturday SHOULD have anticipated what happened and done everything in their power to ensure that it DIDNT happen.

Surely that is the whole point of why we have been charged with 'failing to control' the spectators before?

And for someone to come out with the comment that they did about fans sitting on their hands is ridiculous.

    my brother used to steward...

and they do actually get told that if there is an influx of fans going onto pitch at once then let them as it's impossible to deal with. if its only one or 2 then go for it

    They can't.

All they can do is deal with it to the best of their ability and within the guidelines, which they did to the satisfaction of the referee.

You're trying to knock a nail in a knot mate.

"The instigator of the pitch invasion was arrested"

How was there an "instigator", some came from the Ponty, some from East Stand...it wasn't a planned invasion, it was a number of individuals spontaneously coming onto the pitch.

A steward threated to "smash those stupid glasses into the face" of my friend.

When asked "If he would do it in front of all these people?" he replied "Its worth losing my job for".as he consider my friend a Leeds United supporter (which of course he isnt..BFC fan for over 30 years).

RE: Everybody round where i were sat were cheering um on

So when the police decide they need to double their presence at future games, the policing bill goes through the roof and there's even less to spend on the team, that'll be OK then because it wor just a few lads having a laugh.

    Un-be-f*ckin-leiveable.
