In theory it should prove advantageous. But it obviously isn't, otherwise everyone would do it.

I remember Simon Davey leaving 3 on the halfway line - probably explains why he isn't currently managing in England.

What I find interesting about the data is that you're more likely to score from an inswinging corner than an outswinging corner, the data on that is pretty clear. With that in mind why do teams take outswinging corners?

A corner to the front post is much more likely to result in a goal than a corner to the rear post so why do teams take them to the back post? Why do we SEEM to score more from back post corners?

I believe the answer is because data isn't foolproof and humans know this so go against the data at times. With that in mind why is it such a criminal concept to suggest going against it for leaving a man up front?

How do you get data on something that doesn’t happen?

What puzzles me is we have every one back yet when our dodgy keeper comes out and flaps at the ball you can be almost certain it'll drop to a opposition player not one of ours and if it does drop to one of ours they'll have a brain fade and make a hash of getting rid of it. :D:D

just got this off Wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lies,_damned_lies,_and_statistics sums up these people; also the comment in the Chronicle from one those three that if it had not been for James Cryne and his software we would have gone out of existence a while a go! Yes the same people that sign Herbie Kane for over a million, Luke Thomas for over a million and then let them go on frees, also what happened to the John Stoned sell on money? I wish that the business people in the boxes and the Legend's suite would get together and buy them out. BFC assets player registrations, computers in office, medical equipment in physios room, stock in club shop and the cats roaming the west stand! How much?
