Nice to know that the players and management are seeing the same problems as us fans for once. Think SD had to bring in another striker and Macken has got a decent pedigree. Roll on tomorrow.

Just wonder if ....

Our excellent start caught everyone by surprise, not least the management! I think that Davey started the season with comments like hoping to move into midtable, or not having to worry about looking over our shoulders at the drop-zone. Before the recent break, it was much a question of 'job done' so far. I think the only way that Davey could talk it up now is to keep the focus on a play-off place, which would give the players an achievable and motivating target. We don't just want to win just enough to remain in mid-table. Talk it up, Simon. The play-offs are the target and will motivate the players.
