If we were going to sell both centre backs we should have kept Adam Jackson. He is better than what we have now.
He wanted to leave and was out of contract so not sure there was much we could do - agree he's better than what we have now but then he also played alongside better than we have now.
He didn't know we were going to part with Lindsay and Pinnock. Neither did we, come to that. If he'd been promised first team football his outlook might have been way different. And he had the vital experience edge.
We cant really blame the recruitment team. I would love to know though what remit they have been given. Im not sure the priority objective isn't to find players to keep us in and make us competitive in the Championship
