Refs and west stand lino were dreadful. handball would have been harsh. You'd have to be telepathic to deliberately handle a mis-cue like that. It was more the imbalance of free kicks and failure to pick up blatant offsides.
The throw in....... the Lino should have retired at that very minute. Laughable if it wasn't so inept.
Wasn't a hand ball for me. About a yard away from it with his hand by his side, ball to hand all day. I'd have been annoyed had it been given against us. Other than that, he got little else right. We are talking about the same bloke though who let Michael Brown make 3 challenges from behind on Jacob Butterfield before he booked him. It didn't look like his hand was by his side. From where I was sat in the Ponty it looked a definite penalty and one that almost any ref, except the knob-head at Oakwell, would have given. That was just one example, he was abject all game. The throw in was just embarrassing.
