I dont think she was referring to wilson by how she stated other managers. So the kids haven't been injured all that time. But we do have constants.... All recent managers have set off relatively well. All have had a brainwave whereby suddenly they make strange selections tactics and substitutions. All suddenly bring in a plethora of expensive loan signings. I just believe it happens too constantly and in the same manner for all managers to make exactly the same mistakes. We have heard undermined too often. I'm afraid it all points to the one constant in all the past years.
I've rarely agreed with a manager's team selection over the years, even with our most successful sides. For example, in the 1980/81 promotion winning season, I'd have selected Neil Cooper every time before Joe Joyce. With regards to our team which won promotion to the Premier League, I'd have selected Jovo Bosancic every time before Darren Sheridan. Just a personal preference, that's all. Currently, I'd go for Nyatanga before Kennedy until such time as we bring in a better left back. However, Danny's the manager and I accept it's his right & responsibility to select the players of his choosing, the same as any manager. I don't have to agree with it, but just because his choice doesn't match mine doesn't call into question his abilities, nor does it mean there's a conspiracy taking place.
Using yesterday as an example: as you say Nyatanga for one, I also hoped to see Jennings get a bit of time yesterday. I wasn't aware RNL was injured.
I thought exactly that as I was driving home yesterday and found myself listening to MM on Radio Deedah telling us that "these are a good honest bunch of lads and we'll go again next week", as if nothing was really wrong and the game I had just witnessed was a blip in an otherwise good season. What it needed was for someone to come out and say "That was the biggest pile of ***** ever produced by this shower of **** and god there's been some competition. It was completely unacceptable and we apologise to the fans for having to turn up and witness that - rest assured we will make sure it never happens again, even if we have to get rid of every one of these wasters to do so. The reason I am giving the interview is because Danny is so angry he can't face the media at the moment and is busy inserting rockets up many orifices in there and giving every player a scarborough warning that they will never play for the club again if they ever again hide in such an unacceptable fashion"
