    RE: I forgot one - arrange a pre season tour to Portugal!!!

    I'd prefer a pre season tour around Tenerife so I can crash at my Aunties holiday home. Oh and of course visit her if she's still out there at the time. If the following happens i'll be happy........

    1) Steele and Kozluk get signed back up.

    2) Odejayi gets moved on.

    3) We get back Hammill for the whole of next season and don't go back for our other loanees.

    4) Play 442 always and with everyone in the correct position.

    5) Show more passion in interviews. He usually sounds like he's been to a funeral.

    6) Stop looking for excuses so much and just admit mistakes.

    Spot on. The real issue is what happens on the pitch. Most of them don't care about the other "soft" issues. They just want to see their team win football matches and some would like to be entertained if possible. The majority of Barnsley fans are realistic about the club and their expectations, but they don't want to be involved in a relegation battle every season.

    That's what we did for the two seasons previous to the last one

    And ended up in a pretty similar position.

    I don't get this 4-4-2 = we win games theory. It never has done in the past.

    Our home form was great...

    the season before last, if we had done the same last season, combined with our slighly improved away form we would have been comfortable mid table with an outside chance of the playoffs

    It was our home form that let us down this season. We dropped too many points as a result of negative tactics and formations IMO.
