The sooner someone takes over the club the better

    I agree with that but passion isn't the same as ambition.

    I've said it many times, I think that if the club was taken over I would like to see Don Rowing stay on as a director but I would like a much bigger board to help him because Don and the invisible man just isn't enough.

    If the club is promoted then he can sell his shares. I'm sure that he would get more than £6m for them based on the anticipated revenue that a premier league would command.

    I don't know what the loan position is over the past couple of years but he wrote off a significant figure which would become non-repayable.

    He also wrote of a £1.5m loan that he gave to Oakwell Community Assets, the company that owns the ground.
