I think if we're going to aim ridicule at anyone, it shouldn't be the staff working the kiosks. I bet there isn't one aged over 18, and are probably on whatever the minimum wage is for that age group. They no doubt put up with a load of grief, for pretty much no pay. I'm speaking from experience because when I used to wait on tables at 16, it alway seemed to be my fault if the chef/restaurant manager/bar staff had got the order wrong.

Nobody at ground level is accountable for the neglect at board room level.

Course he has. He had some good, progressive ideas that might endear the club to the fanbase.

    Can't be having that.

That's actually really disappointing. He seemed eager and enthusiastic and keen to get something good happening.

It says a lot when a bloody flatbread is the highlight of the season!

That's exactly right, it was beginning to fade in the sun. Because I no longer attend games, I asked on here for a volunteer to look after it, and @thetykester kindly agreed, but he was away on Saturday. Nobody else offered, including those who complained about the flag being covered on Saturday.

Just to clarify, the flag is the fans' responsibility, not the club's, so no blame can be attached to the club for it being covered in the first half. I've no idea who eventually uncovered it.

My guess is a transfer to Besiktas. He'd be in flatbread heaven!

Maybe Lees departure opens the door for a fabulous George Spicer shaped appointment...?

That olive bar would go from strength to strength with George behind it.

I had the misfortune of having a pie myself on Saturday. It was as if someone had taken low grade pet food, eaten it, shat the contents out into into a pie shaped cardboard shell and then warmed it by having a stray dog sit on it for a week. Vile.

I know the club don't bake them inhouse but come on, get a better supplier.

    I also had a pie

    Could I taste it.

Absolutely not, and I've still got blisters in my mouth.

No way would anyone get food poisoning at oakwell when it feels like it's come out of a furnace.

The less said about the joke of queues trying to get owt at half time as well the better.

I concur with posts from the East stand. It was shocking.

Just for @dreamboy3000 though, I did see ability to pay by card by the way

If the clubs in Germany really do put their fans first, I wonder how this will effect the consortium latest aquasition?
I presume they will have to deliver on the catering front......my mates regularly go to Germany for 1st and 2nd string games claim its top notch.
Funny enough I was lucky enough to attend wake afc games a couple of years ago in cudworth and it was ace....I never buy food at games but it was rude not to....really good quality and service.

Another reason why these owners are a disgrace & need calling out! The match-day experience has regressed since these pillocks took over!

I remember Patrick from Primary School. He lived on the Wilson St. estate Wombwell.
