The Sun is the enemy of the working class. It is totally out of control and needs banning.

The quality of the journalism in Britains biggest newspaper (Daily Mail), makes the Sun look like a beacon of truth and justice for the working classes.

If you ban the sun due to the nature of ones of its (soon to be ex) columnists writing then you need to go the whole hog and ban the lot. The mail, the express, mirror, guardian etc.

It's not just the nature of one it's columnists though is it,the scum rag has a history of this sort of thing and much worse. I don't agree it should be banned it would be far better for people not to buy it but that won't happen. They proof read what he wrote, apparrently they surrounded the piece with advertising etc. The Mckenzie guy is a horrible obnoxious lovely person but he is not the sole reason for the horrible excuse of a national newspaper that is the Sun.

So does the Mail, so does the express et al.

Modern print journalism especially the 'opinion columns' is shocking at best. Regardless of what the paper it is you read.

Money better spent down the ale house.

Have a read of The Sun online. The spelling and mistakes are laughable. Like it could have been written by a 7 yr old.

The police bashing of the past week is pretty poor too

As part of my job I have to read the Daily Mail, the Mirror, the i, the Daily Telegraph and T&A every day to look for articles on subjects teachers have requested. It's despressing as (insert word choice here). It can be interesting seeing how the same story is reported across the different newspapers though.

No , as scummy as the Express and Mail are, they haven't yet descended to the depths that the Sun has. My point is especially in this instance, you can't distance the columnist from the paper. In fact McKenzie epitomises all what the Sun is about, they are a match made in Hell.

To be fair the shunning of the sun on Merseyside post Hillsborough has been very successful not a but a ban but a popular rejection I guess.
