Wilson will be on a rolling contract, it's a sensible thing to do as otherwise it costs you a fortune when they are inevitably sacked, and the compensation when someone else comes in for them is minimal anyway. Would actually be nice to have a manager poached, means they are doing something right and things are going well.
To be fair to CK Beckett, they are a well run company but pretty small, I'd imagine that if the people in charge now are a bit more savvy when securing new sponsorship we'll actually end up with a better return despite being in a lower league. Said it before, I'd be straight on the phone to ASOS, a good deal for us would be chicken feed to them.
I would be looking behind him for communication rothred, He goes about his play quietly. Derby in the play offs have Buxton who's a similar size.
Im not going to get into a debate about steele hemmsy, but I'm more than happy to talk about central defending if you wish? Do you, or have you played? What position?
I haven't but I understand where the communications needed and where from. Eric Steele spoke about it with De Gea, he needed to speak English because he needed to communicate with the team. but I do understand what your saying about Cranie but maybe thats not one of his strengths.
Other things he didn't tell us Is he an arse or tits man ? Who shot JFK ? Are we alone in The Universe ? Has Daniel Craig been a better Bond than Connery ? Has he ever paid for sex ? Beatles or The Stones ? More questions than answers really
I posted a thread about Cranie a while back on here and got slated, glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks he's bang average.
A GK will communicate with his defence but the organisation of that defence normally comes from the CBs, particularly if one of them is the captain. In a noisy stadium the GK won't be heard by the defenders for most of the game so how can he organise them? Just another cheap dig at Steele mate.
We may disagree sometimes Phil, but on this one I'm with you,Cranie is the best footballer we have at the club, his reading of the game is second to none, the biggest problem any of our central defenders have is worrying about Kennedys man besides their own.
Be nice to get some perspective from the management but like I say he has to be diplomatic. He will have his own views but he didnt state them, that's all.
I think he chose his words very well. He stopped short of castigating the players publicly but I think he put his view across quite well without actually saying what most of us already think.
I'm not sure if you listed to a different interview to the one I heard (found here: https://t.co/XqkoNYpzzW) Manager Ben clearly says that Danny and Chris will be here next season and that they are planning for next season together. He didn't reveal the terms of Danny's contract, but I don't believe there is any big secret here, it will be a rolling contract just like the last 3/4 managers contracts have been. Keeping our managers contract confidential must have its advantages, otherwise he would have revealed it long ago. What's important is that Danny is here for next season. Recruitment He does say offers could come in for the likes of Craine, Steele, O'Grady and Jennings, but also says the club can afford to keep them all. I liked what he said about building a team around players who come from or live in Barnsley, with the idea that if they care for the town/people then they will give 100%. Also liked the new approach regarding loans. Lessons have been learned by the sounds of it. Chairman He mentioned that PC is backing the club and hints upon PC backing us for a return to the championship. Thats more than good enough for me. Sponsorship He didn't want to say anything out of respect for potential sponsors, this could mean the current sponsor is quieting or it could me there are multiple bidders and he doesn't want to reveal anything confidential. What he does say is that we have strengthened our marketing and financial departments, which is good news.
I know for a fact the club have spoken to ASOS and there's little interest. As I understand it, most of the management is based in London.
The company out there is Norbert Dentressangle. ASOS use an outsourcer to manage that warehouse. Used to be Unipart.
