Re: I've seen the Academy twice this season Believe I got stick for saying a couple of them were good enough for first team already. I think i got it right and i will do so this time.
He has acheived more for the club than Hill ever could but to use a Dannyism, at this moment in time who is the better manager? Last season they were in the same division - Hill finished seventh and Danny went down. Hill is managing in the Championship and (at this moment in time) Danny is in the shithouse league where he has been since the Fowls gave him the boot.
Agree entirely. Look at Wigan in the Prem. Their target each year is to stay up and hope/pray they'll do better every now and again. I think that's a reality for us. The problem is, people don't want that. Would fowk we rather got relegated and we won a few more games? S'pose it's not bad thing sometimes, just look at Norwich/Southampton etc.
We all laughed at Sheff Utd last season, but I suspect that their fans are enjoying this season more than we are.
To qualify that, I am sure their fans are enjoying the SECOND HALF of this season more than we are. I enjoyed the first half.
Re: I've seen the Academy twice this season You watch the Academy a hell of a lot more than me Phil so I don't have the knowledge of the young lads you do so in your opinion who could Hill bring into the first team squad. Realistically which of them are ready for championship football?
12,000 empty red seats every week doesn't help with the boredom, close the North & put the away fans in the West (North) side, the fans being closer together could help the atmosphere in the ground instead of hearing them mumbling high up in the heavens of the North surrounded by fog.
