No of course it shouldn't. Those folk with no arms and legs, they can use their mouths can't they?

Iraq veterans, the ones who lost arms or legs - get them off the dole too. Did they think serving Queen and Country came to an end when they lost a limb?!

Just think, before long EVERYONE will be contributing! Nirvana is within our grasp. Keep chasing the dream!

I agree, we should start hunting tramps instead of foxes. I reckon that'd create jobs, making bullets and stuff.

The tramps would probably start living in the woods and eat foxes. Everyone's a winner.

Big leap from someone with a dodgy leg to someone without any because of a war.

So where is the cut off for you? Someone with long finger nails? bad hair? should we pay for them to sit at home watching sky then?

unless you physically mentally or emotionally can't work (genuinely) then you shouldnt get disability

Social security should be the safety net in any civilised society..

.. not a way of life.

Makes no difference if their leg is dodgy due to a bullet or a skateboarding injury, still the same injury. Doesn't matter if leg was lost due to a roadside bomb or a machinery accident - still the same injury.

Why should we pay people to watch Sky?

We should introduce a method of determining who is rightfully able to watch tv during the day. Anyone who IS able to work should go to work. Im sure with didigtal tv we can turn off their signal straight away.

Now you see poeple here is a man after my own heart.

Tramps have more DNA in common with crabs than the rest of us. That's a fact. Not a scientifically proven one, but a fact none the less.

Yes I agree. If you can walk, talk, **** and eat you are able to contribute. Lets not stop at the lazy Barstewards, lets take it to all the others who can contribute but we allow not to cos they are SEEN as disabled, but actually are more than capable of getting some sort of work.

And the money we save we can give back to those entrepreneurs to reinvest in society!

Is there an application form to be PM or do I just need to have been a lawyer first?

    im hurt. :'(

"...The flock will come together again and will submit once more, and then it will be once for all. Then we shall give them the quiet humble happiness of weak creatures such as they are by nature. Oh, we shall persuade them at last not to be proud, for Thou didst lift them up and thereby taught them to be proud. We shall show them that they are weak, that they are only pitiful children, but that childlike happiness is the sweetest of all. They will become timid and will look to us and huddle close to us in fear, as chicks to the hen. They will marvel at us and will be awe-stricken before us, and will be proud at our being so powerful and clever that we have been able to subdue such a turbulent flock of thousands of millions.

They will tremble impotently before our wrath, their minds will grow fearful, they will be quick to shed tears like women and children, but they will be just as ready at a sign from us to pass to laughter and rejoicing, to happy mirth and childish song. Yes, we shall set them to work, but in their leisure hours we shall make their life like a child's game, with children's songs and innocent dance.

Oh, we shall allow them even sin, they are weak and helpless, and they will love us like children because we allow them to sin. We shall tell them that every sin will be expiated, if it is done with our permission, that we allow them to sin because we love them, and the punishment for these sins we take upon ourselves. And we shall take it upon ourselves, and they will adore us as their saviours who have taken on themselves their sins before God. And they will have no secrets from us.

We shall allow or forbid them to live with their wives and mistresses, to have or not to have children according to whether they have been obedient or disobedient- and they will submit to us gladly and cheerfully. The most painful secrets of their conscience, all, all they will bring to us, and we shall have an answer for all. And they will be glad to believe our answer, for it will save them from the great anxiety and terrible agony they endure at present in making a free decision for themselves. And all will be happy, all the millions of creatures except the hundred thousand who rule over them.

For only we, we who guard the mystery, shall be unhappy. There will be thousands of millions of happy babes, and a hundred thousand sufferers who have taken upon themselves the curse of the knowledge of good and evil. Peacefully they will die, peacefully they will expire in Thy name, and beyond the grave they will find nothing but death."

    Aye alreight...

... now back in the real world where we were discussing social security I just thought I'd post a little about the other side ... tax 'avoidence'</p>

    Phillip Green</p>

'But Sir Philip, who owns the Arcadia fashion group comprising Topshop, Bhs and Miss Selfridge among others, and employs 38,000 staff, is oblivious to such talk. Having received a &pound;1.2 billion dividend in 2005' Daily Mail</p>

How much tax ? Nil, **** all, nowt... why ? because the dividend was paid to his wife who lives in Monte Carlo and is therefore non-resident for UK tax.</p>

They must have internet access these jobs so they are able to reply to your criticism of them. Only to be used in their lunch period of course.

Hmm it was entirely relevant. Never mind.

And why/how is the government going to punish the people who in effect hold them over a barrel regarding large portions of the UK economy? Democracy? Equality?

Hmm but yes, I agree entirely.

    Hardly a vote winner...

The 6 million who are either unemployed or who are on other benefits won't be voting for them!

    </p>

Saw him with a very tarty looking woman at Monte Carlo heliport. He was trying to get on the chopper Prince bas4rding Albert nicked from us. &quot;I've got a connection to catch,&quot; says the little frog-faced fecker. &quot;Oh that's alright then,&quot; says I, &quot;Go right ahead. We haven't, we have no lives.&quot;</p>

I was alreadyfuming about that ignorant tw4t Albert so he wound his neck in a bit. They disappeared after that. I think he got on the chopper but he must have sneaked out a different way.</p>
