It sounds to me, just a teeny tiny bit, that you might have a problem with it. Just based on the giant nonsensical rant, like.

Tbf, it doesn’t really read like you have no problem with it.

Sooner the UK ceases to exist the better. Being so xenophobic that you can't bear to use the language most of your country speaks, it's just not healthy.

Probably more stirring if you understand it but it was certainly more enjoyable than God save the King.

Very random rant. It’s a rebranding exercise and makes zero difference. Did you lead a campaign for us to be kicked out of the league when we rebranded from the colliers to the tykes.

Bugger off. What about Eurovision song contest. What with the welsh having the best singers.
Sir Tom for next representative. Boyo
But if we are going the full hog. Yorkshire should have its own Olympic team. :)

Why expel those teams? You say you have no problem with it, but you obviously do. Their team should be called their name for it, you wouldn't expect us to be L' angleterre.

I agree, we should also expell any teams who refuse to wear the national team colours too.

Preston and Tranmere will be vying it out for a European place.

You're confabulating** two different issues - the name of the Welsh National Football Team and the inclusion of some Welsh clubs in the EFL/National League.
One way past Westminster Governments have tried (but failed) to keep down the Welsh was by banning/supressing the Welsh Language - place names given English names, all official business done in English etc.
(Same thing happened/happening in N.Ireland where the Irish Language is still banned in schools)

The Welsh Nationalists who are in alliance with the ruling Labour party in Y Senedd are not going for Welsh Independence but are focusing on promoting the Welsh Language and Culture. This is the reason for using the term Cymru re. national football team.
It wont be long before there's a move to give all Welsh places their ORIGINAL Welsh name - Cardiff will become Caerdydd, Swansea - Abertawe , Snowdon - Wyddfa (pronounced 'with-va') Wrexham - Wrecsam etc.

Rob Page - we love you as we love Bale, Kieffer and Nessa,

** do I get a special mention for being the first poster to ever use the word 'confabulating' in a message?
