I doubt they ever expected to win the whole tournament, but would see being the best of of the Home nations including Rep of Ireland as a huge achievement. More likely that's what they are celebrating

It's not really the point is it. Lots of England fans have been wishing them well and there's no need for this juvenile reaction from them.

I am not Welsh nor do i have any affinity to Wales Scotland Northern Ireland or the Irish Republic.

Would any of those nationalities cheer or the English? Or a Blunt cheer on us?

I'm not sure what point you're making. I'm not cheering wales on I'm pretty neutral on their continued involvement, I'm pointing out that they're further on in a competition than us. I'd rather be in their shoes than ours.

I was supporting Wales before I saw that. Don't think I'll bother any more. Come on Belgium!

I personally couldnt think of anything worse. Have you heard all the ***** coming from their camp anyway? Just how good do they think they are? Lets not beat about the bush, we were a shambles but this is a tournament thats been far too unbalanced to say just because theyve got further they are better. The systems been designed so that its harder to not get here, then go through than it is to actually not get there, which in turn makes it harder for the better nations because teams just park the bus. Then its a lottery of who on earth are you gunna get drawn against.

Germany winning it would be worse in my opinion.

If we'd done better in our group we would have avoided Iceland. I always thought Portugal would have been a better draw for us but we can't blame anybody but ourselves for not progressing, least of all the structure of the tournament. Let's face it many games have been like watching paint dry but other teams have managed to break down the teams who park the bus.

All 3 teams in the group came to park the bus against us. Against Wales they believed they were good enough to have a go which suited Wales, which is what I'm getting at. The diluted nature of this tournament has given advantage to the lesser sides but still, we were shocking.
