Was wondering if we had the scenario of a listed building that couldn't be used jepardising our membership of the football league. Then found the assessment form that is required to join the league. Interesting reading the checklists at the bottom. http://www.football-league.co.uk/staticFiles/f2/8f/0,,10794~102386,00.pdf
Re: Nope I,d like to see a new modern stand built , but until that happens lets give it a face lift and re build the toilets . When walking along grove street it looks a right mess . Either re vamp or knock it down . Away fans laugh at it, it's a embarrassment .
Re: Nope Not sure I understand why anyone would want to voluntarily do something now that means that forever more the club would have it's hands tied with regards to developing that side of the stadium. As has been said though, it's would never happen. Simply being old and shabby isn't in itself a defining criteria for a building being listed. Plenty of old and shabby terraced houses all older than the west stand - why aren't they all listed if that was the case. Definite 'No' from me.
