    The pension system in its present form cannot sustain itself much longer

    We areapproaching the time when there's likely to bemore people over pension age drawing from it, than there are underpension ageand contributing to it.</p>

    The high number of youngpeople on otherbenefits does nothing to swell the pension fund either. One good reason why people who CAN work should always be encouraged to do so.</p>

    Nothing to do with bankers, really?

    Only last October the Treasury pumped &pound;37billion of taxpayers' money into Lloyds TSB, HBOS and Royal Bank of Scotland in a move we were told would re-stabilise the sector. This was in addition to the &pound;250billion Credit Guarantee Scheme and the extension of the &pound;200billion Special Liquidity Scheme that were announced at the same time. </p>

    Small change I suppose? (titanic) </p>

    Each claimant should be judged on their own specific NEEDS...

    and paid in line with their level of ability/disability.

    Shamefully, Labour have been caught up in allowing unfortunate people become scapegoats in their campaign to stay on the right side of the media, as as we all know, getting shut of all claimants would solve all the nations problems OVERNIGHT.

    There are undoubtedly some bogus claimants, that goes without saying.

    the Barstewards just want you to work until you drop dead so they don't have to pay you any pension. we should be rioting in the streets over decisions like this.

    that 66 will pretty quickly be the minimum age for retirement whoever is in charge
