I was there I saw. Not lies remember around 1997 to 2003 when our average crowds were better than yours.
Do you often just randomly quote old movies completly unrelated to the conversation You really should see someone about that
It was a very low turn out and it was an appaling performance from the blades. I was sitting in the Travellers in Birdwellafter the matchwith two mates of mine who are true blades and they were discussing which new grounds they were going to when they got relegated. Warnock appointed and the rest is history.
Things have a habit of being cyclical, early 90s Wednesday in Europe, nearly won the league in 92 blades struggling. In 2003 Wednesday relegated to third tier Blades near top of Championship. Your arrogant statement of 'will we play you again?' well yes this season, and there may be a time when we are in a division above youbut it may flip again. We haven't been in a division above Wednesday in my time of watching, but up to this season you could say the same thing about Leeds, therefore I live in hope !!!

Averages........ I took a guess.... easy thing to do! My word..... you get even more per average than us? Interesting that you'd rather pick fault with my mishap regarding the statistics and not the fact that despite you being a 'massive club' in comparison, you have nothing to show for it and you're usually in the same division as little old us? Must make you feel good seeing you're who you are, eh?.............. Do you contest certain anomalies with the blue side of your city? Or do you have an inferiority complex that you come on our site trying to get that 'feel good factor'? no doubt you 'surf' around the Rotherham and Donny sites too? I bet you're a belter? Sat at home with your tank top on, not daring to question why your Mrs has given you Peas at dinner again (boohoo!). Life in the office is a bore, blah, bah, blah! (blagger)
It can be, there's no love lost there in Brizzle. The Gasheads ( Rovers fans) have a particularly nasty reputation.
Shef Utd? Under Adrian Heath average gates of around 12,000, on one occasion about five coachloads of '100% Bades' made the marathon trip to Oakwell. They once had less than 2,000 for a home League Cup game. They last won a trophy when German people were queueing up at 4.00 in the morning for a loaf of bread after the Wall St Crash. While they were playing in Divs 3 and 4 (yes, Div 4), Swindon, Luton, Oxford and other giants of the game were showing them how to win cups. Sheffield is a big city. But like Notts County and Bristol Rovers will tell you, big city doesn't necessarily mean big club. (england)
RE: Wrong again idiot Jimmy muir reight Sheff u player . "thats it sharpe go on complete your victory they wont stand now".
5 coach loads? can remember them bringing about 1000 once. don't think they,ve ever brought so few to the Well!
What is it with the Piggy Blunts. There’s a few I know who do nothing but moan. Don’t matter how they are playing. Even when they went up which was a big shock as they where nowhere near in the years leading up to it. One lucky season does not make them world beaters like there fans think they are. They get promoted and they moan, they are now in their usual mid table position, they moan. Its just a blunts thing, no matter who is in charge they want the manager out. Crowds count for fu*k al. After all Fulham and Wigan are in the Premiership. What says it all about the blunts is that in March ish time it was announced that they had sold all their season tickets, so Bumhole Lane will be sold out every game. So you would have though, but they go down and their “fans” say I’m not watching Championship football, I want a refund. Joke supporters. At least Wednesday fans just get on with it. Oh yes, I’ve been to a Liverpool - Man U, Liverpool – Everton, Celtic – Rangers, Barce – Real Madrid and Roma – Lazio, Sunderland – Newcastle (when Chopra scored for Newcastle, dead atmosphere with Newcastle winning 4-1 I think). Have to say that the Liverpool – Man U was in probably 2nd place but for experience I would say Rome – Lazio was the best of the ones I’ve been to last year. Went to Figo’s return to Barce but I was only about 15 at the time and don’t really remember it apart from pigs head thrown at him.
