    I don't doubt that story as it does seem feasible but didn't Fallon represent England at youth level when he was with us? It could be argued that if it wasn't for us he wouldn't have made it pro full stop.

    I don't think this is a problem at Oakwell anymore than other clubs. Players dont fit in at certain clubs and then go on to better things...it happens. In Fallon's case, as with many target men he will get better with age and experience. I think Richards falls into this bracket also.

    Also, there are plenty of players who have peaked whilst at Oakwell. Hignett, Redfearn...arguably Ashley Ward etc.
