    I went with barnsley66 and sat directly opposite Ben Mansford, on the front row. The only BBSer I saw was Omen and that was as we were leaving the car park.

    Yup. I was the skinny, young lad with a full head of hair sat at the front, wearing a shirt with the face of a German Shepherd & asked the question about how many more signings would Danny hope to make.
    The comment about being skinny, young and with a full head of hair could be construed as being an example of using poetic licence.

    Sorry but I could not disagree more with this assumption. If anything after hearing Danny praise Ben last night I would say he is highly thought of at the club and he would be a big loss should he go.

    With all the talk of making more profit by taking control of catering/club shop contracts, discount schemes with the new ST cards, Danny saying without him we would not have been able to sign certain players, the return of the family stand, I can't imagine any reason for the club to get rid of him. He's doing a far better job than the Don and he didn't get the chop.

    Based on his enthusiasm and desire to improve Barnsley that he clearly showed last night I can't see a reason why he would want out either.
