    Owning an android box is definitely not illegal. Neither is installing open source software onto them. Using that platform to then access copyrighted content, is where it gets tricky..

    That's what I mean. To watch, you aren't going to get into trouble. But hosting, or even selling pre-configured devices to receive illegal streams, you'll eventually get pulled.

    I can't recommend the raspberry pi 2 highly enough, I had the b+ from day one, then got the pi 2 as soon as it was released, I've been running Xbmc/ Kodi on various devices for about 4 years now & the pi 2 is probably the best I've used, costs less than £30 too!

    That's right, some dope in Scotland has just been collared for running a market stall selling pre configured boxes & even had banners saying 'get rid of sky/ virgin' they reckon he was reported by one of the fellas who stands in towns trying to sell Virgin!

    Once you have figured out the basics, you can then start to get a bit adventurous and create your own build with backgrounds and submenus. Loads of videos on youtube to get you started.
