Thought the same but then they grew on me. Who does have a good badge? look at some of the top teams, they're all ***** badges but you see them that much, corporate identity or summat and you just get used to them.

The Yorkshire Rose. I thought we'd get that. We're a Yorkshire club and we've had a rose as an emblem in the past, so why not? Well, because the Yorkshire rose, looking very similar to the one on these designs, is already on the Leeds United badge. Not that Leeds have any more right to the rose than we have, but they got there first with this type of design, so if we're going to have a rose let's not have it looking very similar to theirs. It'll look like we're copying and we'll get the piss ripped out of us. Not only that, but their rose is better designed than ours, so not only are we copying, but we haven't done a very good job.

Overall I think they're nice designs. Some lovely gradients in the golds and the reds. Trouble is, you can't reproduce that in cotton and polyester. What you usually get when you're after gold is yellow. What we'll get from the above designs are red and yellow badges. What we've been shown there is not what we're going to get and people may well be very disappointed when they see the final result. They're good concepts, but they need some work and they need showing in flat colours in what the manufacturers are capable of reproducing before a vote can be cast. What you can do in photoshop and illustrator looks great on your website, but the primary use of this design is a fabric badge and it will not look like those.

Just to give you an example:

The Leeds United concept in blue and gold

The yellow and blue badge on the shirt

That was my preference as well - unfortunately puts me in the same category as Hemsie

The designs on B and D are OK I just dont particularly like a round crest - looks like a car badge

i'll be perfectly honest - my heart just sank. i don't like any of them. i really really didn't want to find myself saying 'keep what we have', but i think that's what i'll be doing. there's nothing in any of those badges that either appeals aesthetically, or retains any of the heritage of previous Club crests.

    i think they're all poor. sorry. i'm out :(

    I've gone for B.

D looks like subliminal Soviet propaganda and I don't like the miniature oak and well on A and C (although I do like the shape of C). The current badge just looks crap in comparison.
