Despite the stupidity of Dawson and the self-inflicted loss of John Stones, how unlucky have we been this season? We've amassed enough points to have survived or be on the brink of survival for almost every previous season I can recall, we've lost Golbourne meaning our whole system had to be tweaked, we got Delap, who then got injured, we've lost three to four many players to injury today and despite putting in so much effort since January we look like we've finally ran out of steam at the worst possible time. Surely we're due a bit of luck in the next four games, but you make your own luck. As fans lets really get behind them like never before, lets debate and criticise after the season finishes. The fans can only do so much, but lets ensure we DO contribute all we can.
they didnt have to do two 400 mile round trips, wouldnt it have been better to stay down south maybe from palace to hereford or ross on wye then travel home after the cardiff game.
We've had our fair share of luck. Quite a few deflected shots have gone in. With the rest it's difficult to call luck. Injuries are perhaps beyond luck. We are where we are. Every team has it's own sob story. Ours is no worse.
In one of Flickers interviews this week he said he has told the board that our travel options are causing the players probs and hes trying to address that issue and the board have backed him. I took that as the coach they were using wasnt to the standard that we should have. Thats why they have been using a new company from Leeds with the big posh coach.
